You can fill it with ice from a gas station bag "but i wouldnt", you would just need to fill more often small ice compartment so finding a fridge with a bigger ice bucket would be best if going this way or getting a non side by side and use ice trays, you fill with sink water.. sidebyside spend money on ice ? other non side by side make your own ice ? hope it helps
