ok I know this is an old question but I was having the same problem and just figured it out. with the PC turned on I changed the power LED option to "working", like someone else suggested and unfortunately it did not work. BUT after doing that I pressed and hold the power button for a few seconds (5 seconds I guess) and BAM no more lights! nor blinking or stand buy. all dark!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hold the power button for a few seconds after powering off. It should blink blue and then when you take your finger off the blinking will stop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None of these answers are right. There is no way to turn off the power LED when the monitor is in standby. Setting the LED to either standby or working won't help. Samsung is a terrible company that gets worse every year. Next time, I'm getting something from a different brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ok so there’s no way to do this directly but 1. Enable eco mode, set it to whatever time you want 2. Switch the status LED option to “Working” Now the monitor LED will blink for whatever amount of time you set and then turn off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I was about to post the exact same question, however I found a solution to it. - When the screen is turned on press the power button and then hover over to menu. From there find system, then power and then change the "Power LED" to "Working". This will change so the light will instead be on when the screen is on, and turned off when the screen is off. In steps: 1. Go to menu 2. Go to system 3. Find "Power LED" 4. Change it to "Working" 5. Voíla
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same question! "TheDannelitos" answer helped me finally solve this with the addition of the monitor must be plugged into an active computer. It allows you to actually select all of the options in the monitor's menu. For some reason having the monitor on but not connected to anything limits the menu and doesn't allow you to select the "working" option
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way to turn off the LED light is: 1: “Off” the screen (button at the bottom of the monitor). 2: “Shut down” the computer (without the monitor) while holding the mouse cursor on “Shut down” the computer and click without moving the mouse. Not very practical but it's the only way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.change the "Power LED" to "Working". This will change so the light will instead be on when the screen is on, and turned off when the screen is off. In steps: 1. Go to menu 2. Go to system 3. Find "Power LED" 4. Change it to "Working" 5. But the led wiil still blinking if the display wait from signal, ex. in sleep mode or hibernate!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue, and the only thing that really solves it is unplugging the monitor at night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What I do is unplug the monitor Everytime I’m done using it,saves energy.
