QuestionCan you still stack with the pedestal?

- Answer The stacking kit assembles your dryer on top of your washer, I imagine you could still have a pedestal under the washer but that would me the controls on the dryer out of reach for almost anyone. I don't know the weight factor, but i also think that would be a lot of stress on the pedestal

- Answer It is not necessary, but we bought them without them and we are now going to purchase them because we found that it will make it easier to reach the clothes toward the back of the washer and dryer. Being 6'1" it makes it pretty hard to bend down to get the clothes without getting down on one knee.

- Answer Yes. There is a youtube available to walk you step by step if yours didnt come with the paper work like mine because bought it from open box display for $90!!! With very mimimal scratches.

- Answer I would say no because there's a slot on the pedestal for the washer and dryer to lock to keep them steady. I once read they were universal so I brought Samsung for my lg because they were on sale and had to take them back. There are feet on the bottom of washer and dryer that lock into these slots. If you want to use anyway the dryer width and length should be the same size and dimension..

- Answer The pedestal attaches (with screws) to the underside of the washer or dryer. It is quite stable and at least for us, does not cause any more vibration or noise. The pedestal easily opens like a drawer to store things like laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. We also LOVE how the pedestal raises the washer and dryer to a height that makes it much easier to load and unload!
