“How do you open the ice maker door? Afraid I may break it as cannot open. Looked at picture but still cannot figure out! Help! See above!”

You have to push up from the bottom to get it over the lip.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with the ice maker in your RF28HMEDBSR. You should be able to remove the ice bucket by lifting it slightly then pulling it toward you. Some Samsung ice makers have a lever on the side that needs to be pressed in order to release the bucket. If you are still unable to remove it, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you. - Ms. Samsung

My door latch pulls pretty hard so you may just need to pull a little harder.

There is no door on the ice maker. On mine, you lift the whole ice maker up and then it completely pulls out of the refrigerator.

Very carefully. I pulled my apart when a screwdriver and a hammer gently tapping until it came open. Just don't hit it really hard!
