Yes according to the manual and the door design, there should be a long and narrow freezer door bin. Our older (2008 Samsung french door) refrigerator had one and the manual identifies it too. I went back to the store and none of their floor models came with the door bin. The sales staff had no idea, of course. Now I'm looking for information on the freezer door bin and WHY it doesn't seem to be included. I'm including picture of the location, door support points and the manual illustration with bold print of the component name, "door bin". Anyone know why it's not included?

(Old fridge died after 10 yrs) Installers assured me the freezer door bins aren't included anymore. I ran out to their truck to grab the one off the old fridge... It fits!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, there is not "supposed" to be one meaning no one at the warehouse forgot to put a shelf in your box. This model simply does not come with a shelf. However, clearly there is a slot where a shelf can be supported (probably multiple shelf designs). I ordered freezer door rack DA63-07512A from a company for 35 bucks. It's ok. Worth the 35 bucks as it gives me an easy access place for my ice cream sandwich fix, but I do wish it stuck out more. I suggest you research what shelf parts fit there and just order it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there is a sliding shelf inside the freezer. Mine will push back and you cannot see it but if you reach in you can pull out a whole sliding shelf. It is great. If yours doesn't have one then I would let where you got it know.
