Pure cycle is your tub cleaning cycle that you should do every 3 weeks to help prevent the doomed (as most people put it) mold. Yes your front load washer will have a chance to develop mold between the drums but if you leave/prop your door open after you are done with washing and use the pure cycle you will not have to worry about it.
