The clock does not stay on all the time. When you are baking, the info screen remains lit with cooking information. There is an issue with the latest Samsung firmware which breaks the WiFi capability of this oven. No monitoring or adjusting the temperature with your phone, etc. Samsung has been less than helpful. If you are purchasing it for the smart features look elsewhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The clock WILL stay on if you set it up that way in settings
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hidden clock is a pain, but certainly will be the least of your worries. Really hated that I finally had to give up on my Samsung Wall Oven. Nothing can compare with its features and price point.... just wish Samsung and Dacor engineers (if Samsung kept any of them when they bought Dacor) could just figure out how to make it work! Uneven cooking, poor convection, could never bake a cake in 2 years and after 3 replacements! Computer panel constantly being replaced, as well as everything electrical. Also, the Gourmet recipes never get updated or increased, so you have like a half dozen recipes and that's it. Firmware can't be updated on-line though their own built-in worthless WIFI, you must download from an iPhone (that's right, they don't support an Android app!!). The repairman had to come back after he borrowed his kid's iPhone hoping that the firmware would help.... it didn't. Also, the Samsung Home set-up on their major appliances is incompatible with Samsung's various incompatible Smart Home products, including Smart Things. Finally gave up and invested in a Thermador and was able to bake a cake for the first time in years. DON'T put yourself through the pain and suffering you'll experience owning a Samsung Wall Oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Forget about getting this to work. Multiple new control boards, panels, everything... still inconsistent cooking, false door open alarms, worthless connectivity, 6 recipes on a beautiful screen. An idea that just couldn't be executed. Convection is horrible as others said, enjoy a raw turkey burnt and dry on the outside, and forget about trying to bake a cake. Can't adjust smart features without the phone app that no longer works. You've been warned!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the temperature stays displayed. The one thing I don't like is that the light doesn't stay on once you turn it on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be aware that the oven is constantly checking the temperature and adjusting it so that it clicks constantly. Also, it runs the convection fan during thermal bake to keep the temperature constant. As a result, anything you are baking will be done unpredictable quicker and the outside of the cake, etc will be dryer than with a normal thermal (as opposed to convection) oven. We went back to a Kitchenaid oven and are very happy with it.
