• No, there's a tray that opens and you pour water in. It does do a self clean and will also steam clean. I don't think teh steam function would be comparable to sous vide, no

• Hi there, I can answer this for you. You do not need a water line. The unit has a water reservoir inside the oven compartment that you will fill with water when you select that feature. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
