Thanks for the question. Each burner on the FX510BGS is designed for a different level of BTUs (the amount of gas allowed through each orifice), which determines the height of the flame. The center oval burner is rated for 9,500 BTUs, which is nearly double that of the right rear simmer burner (5,000 BTUs), but much less than the right front power burner (17,000 BTUs) as well as the left front (15,000 BTUs). If your center burner does not appear to fall within this range, I would suggest contacting your installer or another licensed technician to adjust the flame height for you. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The middle burner will not get a large pot of water to boil quickly, but the front right one does very quickly for us! I know the middle burner is more for using a griddle or grill pan, and the flame is less than others but for getting more even cooking on what you're making. No need for adjustment, it's just what it does. Hope that helps!
