Q: QuestionI am trying to cover an opening with a span of 27 7/8” wide. Will this trim kit cover that? The dimensions in the specs don’t look right, as maybe they are the dimensions of the opening only?

Q: QuestionI recently bought the microwave and trim kit. Received the microwave, but still waiting for the trim kit to arrive. Does this trim kit come with a platform to level and secure the microwave in place? My old microwave's trim kit came with one.

Q: QuestionI just purchased an LG LMC2075ST countertop microwave to use in my 30" wall oven cabinet. I can't find a Trim Kit. Is there a trim kit I could use if not in LG, another vendor?

• A:Answer Most people like to match the trim kit to match with the microwave. Thus you want both from the same manufacturer. Once you have both items at home then you can check for the match between the two and also with other items if you would. Installation instructions from most manufacturers are not good at all. So you may end up to run a dry run install of the microwave in the cutout and hold Trim around it and see if you like what you see. This is the only real check that no one can do for you. You can get bits and pieces only from others.

Q: QuestionBy all accounts it says the opening is 25.5 x 21.5, but the matching microwave is 23.625 x 13.28, is there really an inch gap on each side and 4" top and bottom? The picture does not show that?

• A:Answer Unfortunately I don’t know anything about that model number,. So I have know way of knowing if it will fit. I would go to the store and they will look it up and can tell you which units it can be used with. When I purchased my appliances, the trim kit was out at all Best Buy’s and other stores, I just kept watching on-line for it and when I found it ordered it and had it shipped to the store.

If all appears well place trim kit around microwave and screw into cabinet. If problem exist start over until you are satisfied with location and look. Also view any online photos found
