QuestionWhat is the difference between the UN32EH4003 & UN32EH4000?

- Answer I believe a couple of other minor differences will be that the 4000 will have the HDMI and USB ports facing sideways and the remote will have back-lit keys (white translucent keys) with an on/off button for the back-light at the top right of the remote (glowing pink button). The 4003 will have the above mentioned ports facing toward the back and its remote is not lighted (will have black keys instead of translucent white with no glowing pink on/off button). Image shown is the remote for the 4000 and NOT the 4003 sold here. The remote for the 4003 is exactly the same but with black keys with white characters and no illumination.

QuestionDoes this tv support wifi to watch netflix?

- Answer Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps (like Netflix, Pandora or YouTube), it can display App content from a 2010-12 Samsung BD player or other internet capable device (the blu-ray player/internet capable device will handle the Internet content processing, while the TV displays the content. Similar to how a monitor will display the PC’s video signal). For Samsung TVs that offer WiFi and access to Samsung Apps, please take a look at the EH5300 and the ES6100 and higher LED TVs. - Answer For an opening that is 23 1/2 inches wide, I would have to say the largest TV you can fit in there would be the 22" UN22D5003. the 26" models are an inch to wide for you application and the 32" model will not fit at all. -MrSamsung

- Answer All current generation Samsung TVs are digital cable and Antenna ready. All of our TVs include a coax ATSC/QAM tuner that handles digital and analogue broadcast signals as well. No external boxes or equipment needed (besides the coax cable itself) to view your basic cable. However, an antenna is required for over the air broadcasts. Premium service may require additional equipment and fees. Please contact your service provider for details. -MrSamsung

- Answer The UN32EH4003 is back-lit by LEDs in the sense that the LEDs act like CCFL bulbs in a more traditional LCD TV. Please note, none of the Samsung TVs offer Full Array LED Back-lighting, nor will the UN32EH4003 offer any sort of local dimming or other LED controlling features found in the premium "ES" models. -MrSamsung

QuestionIs there an on-off switch/button on the television?I'm having to discard a perfectly good television(Sanyo) because the remote control is no longer working and there is no way to manually turn on my Sanyo. Every replacement remote I've looked at says the television must be on to program the universal replacement remote. There is absolutely no way to manually turn this television on. Unless somebody knows something I don't know, the last servicemen that I had didn't know, etc. Unplugging and plugging back in does not turn the television on. There is no hidden on/off switch on any corner, down any edge on the front screen, on the back-I've looked-so has everyone else. Thanks in advance.

- Answer No, because you would need a headphone jack for that. Unless you connect a sound bar to it that supports HDMI and has headphone jack. Sound bars cost arouns $200, so I don't think its worth it. Better go with a TV that has headphone jack.

Questionsmart tv or tv with hdmi port for streaming movies,etci cannot figure out what the best choice for me would be.i want to stream movies and tv shows on my tv, without interrupting computer use. if i get a smart tv, do i still have to connect to computer? or get a second internet connection and plug directly into the connection- but i have the broadband that connects the computer with a phone jack.

- Answer The Smart TV connects to the internet via via your home Wi-Fi the same as your tablet or smartphone do when at home. You can install apps on the TV the same way that you do on your smartphone although there are fewer apps available. For instance, you can install Crackle or Netflix Samsung smart TV's in which case you don't need anything else other than an Internet connection and the app to stream movies. If you have a tablet running KitKat 4.4 you probably can also use screen cast which will cast anything playing on your Android tablet to your TV (picture and sound). Some tablets also have an HDMI out connector which is another way to use your TV's screen and speakers for streaming content. I'm not sure of the actual internet service you have based on your description of running through a phone jack. I assume that you have DSL from the phone company and most if not all of their DSL modems have built in Wi-Fi. If you want to do what I have described above you will need a home Wi-Fi router which you probably already have.

- Answer All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture. -MrSamsung

- Answer Most likely you would be able to, but naturally there may be some limitations or exceptions. Most VCR players support the AV (Yellow video) cable. This television supports HDMI, Component (Red/Blue/Green) and Composite (Yellow AV). VCRs didn't support HDMI, but Component or composite may be a possibility. Your best solution is probably to connect your VCR player to the "Y" Video input, and route the audio through the audio input cables with RCA cables. - Answer The base sort of does move, but just ever so slightly. It allows a small repositioning to adjust a bit from one side or the other. Realistically, I wouldn't definitely consider this base actually having a swivel feature.

- Answer Due to the nature of the cross compatible connectors (HDMI, Composite(RCA yellow/red/white), Component(red/green/blue), Optical), you will be more than able to connect any device that offers the aforementioned connections to the Samsung TVs, regardless of manufacturer. Unfortunately, since I do not know all of the connections offered by all of the different devices on the market, you will have to refer to your devices’ manual to find out which connection is best to use with this Samsung TV. There are no special converters required. Aforementioned Cables will be required for normal operation. For your reference, the UN32EH4003 offers the following connections: HDMI 2 Component 1 Composite (AV) 1 USB 2.0 1 RF In 1 -MrSamsung

QuestionHow to hook up the tv to a sound bar, home theater system, or computer speakers?Regarding home theaters: Is the only way to get sound from the tv into a external system through the red/white audio out cables? Regarding Computer Speakers: I haven't bought a home theater system, I've only tried computer speakers (with a 3.5mm headphone jack) into the tv, and it didn't work. Is there a converter I need for this if I still wanted to go the computer speaker route?

- Answer Not knowing the specific speakers you're trying to use, it sounds like you may want to try a 5.1to RCA adapter. It will allow you connect up to a 5.1 computer speaker set up to your TV. You'll just need a set of RCA audio cable (red and white) to connect the adapter to your TV. You can find both of these items online for about $20 for both. Hope this helps.
