- Answer I had the same problem and was told by the repairman that my suspension rods/shocks all needed replacement (even though my machine is only 2 years old and I have never overloaded it or used it excessively). The cost will be greater than half the original cost of the machine and Samsung will not compensate for any of it because it is more than 1 year old. I am dumping the useless thing and buying a Kenmore.

QuestionCan I manually adjust the water levels?I cloth diaper my daughter and to effectively clean the diapers it is recommended to use the highest water level. I know this washers water level is based on weight but I've noticed my diapers not coming clean. This is not a laundry soap issue. Is there a way for me to manually adjust water levels? Or a way to trick the machine into adding more water?

- Answer You cannot adjust the water level. This is the so called energy/water saving feature. I read that some people pause it and put a couple of bucket loads of water in. I tried that and it just drained right out the bottom. Why make a water saving machine if it cannot even clean the clothes. My machine is 7 months old and I hate it!

QuestionDoes the machine needs cycle breaks?I just got my WA400 and I washed 3 loads clothes one after the other and the machine worked fine. When I pushed the power button for the 4th load nothing happened it would not turn on. Roughly 45 minutes later it worked fine. Today same thing happened. Is this normal?

- Answer Thanks for the question. The WA400PJHDWR should not require a "break" between cycles. I would suggest checking to make sure the door is closed, then press the button firmly to start. If the issue persists, try cycling the power by unplugging the washer for a few minutes or turning the circuit breaker off then on again. I hope this helps resolve the issue for you. - Ms. Samsung

- Answer Thanks for the question. Since the size and weight of jeans can vary significantly from one pair to another, we don't use jeans as a comparative measurement of capacity. I can tell you, however, that the 4.0 cubic foot WA400PJHDWR can fit a king size comforter or the equivalent of 28 standard 24" x 44" bath towels. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionHow do I make it wash better?I recently purchased one of these washing machines. My clothes frequently come out still dirty-- for example, with dirt, deodorant, powdered detergent or other marks still on them. What can I do to get them cleaner? I feel like they don't get wet or agitated enough. This is especially true of delicates, including work shirts and athletic clothes.

- Answer I'm sorry to hear your clothes are not coming clean enough with the WA400PJHDWR. It's important to use the correct amount of HE detergent, and select the appropriate water temperature and other settings for the type of items you're washing. Overloading the washer can hinder its ability to wash all items thoroughly. Make sure the hot and cold water lines are connected properly and the inlet hose screens are clear and unobstructed, and load the clothes loosely in the machine. Pre-treating certain items or soaking may also help to improve performance. Thank you, Ms. Samsung

- Answer The cycles vary from cycles. On normal 54-74 minutes. You can also do a quick cycle which only takes 34 minutes
