It is supposed to run that way. It is a water efficient washer. iI your clothes come out clean then it's working. However if you still want more water, check You tube. There are a lot of videos out there showing how to adjust the water. Or you can add water in the detergent drawer as the cycle is running.

It's normal for the water to be difficult to see given the low water use of the WF42H5200AP and other Front Load Washers as well as the fact that Samsung's drum tilts toward the back. Because of this, there is likely more water in your washer than you realize. Following are the Troubleshooting Tips from page 32 of the User Manual: • Turn both faucets on fully. • Make sure the door is tightly closed. • Straighten the water inlet hoses. • Disconnect hoses and clean the screens. Hose filter screens may be clogged. • Open and close the door, then press the Start/Pause Button. There's also an article in the Troubleshooting Guide on Samsung's website, entitled "Washer Does Not Fill With Water", that can help you determine whether the Washer is filling with the appropriate amount of water and what to do if it isn't.
