- Answer You can connect via HDMI from bar to tv, but for best sound use the optical cable provided in box.

QuestionWill this work with a TV that doesn't have Bluetooth?I just purchased the Samsung UN48J5000AFXZA. The sound is awful, but I don't have space for a wired subwoofer, so I am looking for either just a sound bar with a built-in subwoofer or a sound bar and wireless subwoofer combination. Dialogue clarity from movies and TV (Amazon Fire) is my priority. However, my TV doesn't have Bluetooth. Will this subwoofer work? I would be hooking the sound bar up to TV via optical cables. Or, can someone recommend another option in the $150 - 250 price range?

- Answer Yes, you should not have a problem. The Blue tooth is the communication between the sound bar and the sub woofer. The only connections are the optic cable to the sound bar from the TV and the power cable for the sound bar and sub-woofer. I placed my sub next to the couch out of the way so I don't see the power cable.

- Answer It will work if you use an optical cable via the Digital Audio Output on your tv.

- Answer no. It doesn't use your wifi network (you don't even need to connect the soundbar to your home wifi). The soundbar automatically found the subwoofer without any configuration.

- Answer It really depends on how your 4 speakers are set up. If they're set-up as 4 channels, then you can still use the soundbar and subwoofer for 2 more channels. It can act as a center speaker and sub.

- Answer Well there are plenty of those in the market and generally they are reasonably priced but may have wired subwoofers or no subwoofer at all listen before you buy and make sure that it is connected by the rca lines Vizio has a descent one for under $200 want cheaper try insignia as well

- Answer I would place the subwoofer parallel to your ear. Or maybe behind you - but I would not place it near the TV, I think that might be the worst place for it. Hope that helps!

- Answer I use the sound bar with only the HDMI connection and it works. I tried it with the fiber optic connection as well, but the performance was not improved.

QuestionCan I connect Samsung 400 series Soundbar to my Rocketfish HDMI splitterI want to connect the soundbar to may Rocketfish HDMI Splitter instead of directly to the TV. My TV is wall mounted and wires are hidden behind wall. TV is connected to Comcast receiver and receiver is connected to the splitter. DVD and Head Phones are also connected to the splitter.

- Answer Don't think that will work. Based on my limited knowledge on the subject, the splitter will split a signal from 1 to 2. In most cases, people use this to split a single cable signal to 2 TVs. I don't think it would work inversely with trying to send your TV 2 signals from 2 different devices.

QuestionWhen I turn my soundbar off I lose some settings, is this normal?When I turn my soundbar back on I have to set my volume again, turn surround sound back on, and change my sound effect back to sports mode. Sub volume, bass and treble all stay correct. Does anyone else have this problem and is there any known fix?

- Answer I connected mine to my vizio TV w/no problems using the optical out from the TV. 1 (included in the box) wire from soundbar to TV was all it took.

- Answer I believe it only connects devices via Bluetooth input, so you can send audio from another device to the soundbar, but not send out audio from it. You have to change the setting to Bluetooth and when you do that audio is no longer being received from the TV, but from whatever device you're connecting it to via Bluetooth.

- Answer Does your TV have Bluetooth/SoundConnect/SoundShare? If not then I wouldn't buy it. You will be able to connect it but you won't be able to control it with a TV remote, you will still have to use soundbar remote,

QuestionGot 2 HDMI ports on my Tver comment say HDMI is better ju they are busy so how will this hook up without using a HDMI from my tvThat's it I want to get a sound board and I am running all my in wall cables so it's a clean look and as hi quality as I can get has b and c connector but the reviews say HDMI is better so how is it wired up. His is just Samsung 60 led tv not a smart tv.

- Answer You should use the fiber optic cable then. It should have been included with your soundbar. and your TV sounds like it should have a fiber optic output.

- Answer As long as your TV has an HDMI 1.4 output, an optical digital audio output or an analog audio output, it will be compatible.

- Answer To be honest, using the fiber optic cable is the way to go. Wireless connection will never beat connecting something with a wire when it comes to quality. You won't get any disruptions with a wired signal. And the fiber optic cable should have come with your soundbar.

- Answer No, the soundbar sends a specific signal to link to the subwoofer. I have another sub from same system and it won't even let me link both of them to o e soundbar
