The television is actually 38 inches wide and the legs are 30 and 1/2 inches from outside to outside. So yes, it will fit on a 36 inch table. Hope this is helpful. I’m very happy with this television and would recommend it to anyone.

The feet would jusybsitvatvthe edges. I wouldn't recommend setting it on a smaller TV stand. I'd suggest a stand of 42" or wider.

Yes it will fit on a 36" TV stand. I put mine on a 32" stand and the legs are 31" apart from outside to outside.

YES! Although the console on which my TV sits is 37" long, 36" would work too!
