“How to operate the Auto Dispense System? The instruction manual says "hold down a button for 3 seconds." I have tried holding every spot I see for minutes & Nothing! Where do you start? On the top display panel or the detergent dispenser drawer? Broken?”

If not working ok to put detergent on top of clothes. If your talking about fabric softener there is a selection below deep fill
