The recall was just Samsung sending an email to those who bought a specific Serial Number of this item telling them to update their device software. This issue was fixed by updating the software on your washer, Samsung did it automatically if you were connected to Wi-Fi. If not, then you could go in the app and it would show you how to update. I bought mine August 2022 and I have not had an issue at all. (There's also 6 people in my household so this gets used a lot, still no issues)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if this helps. From what I understand, Samsung pulled all of their top load washers that had the Speed Wash function late last year. They corrected the issue before releasing them back in the retail market. Not all models were affected. I did this research myself before purchasing as I had the same concern.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought one of these last year and have had major issues. if you try and wash bedding it will throw a code and stop working. i had downloaded the software update already before this happened. they finally said i would get a refund 2 months ago and that process was a nightmare. finally I threatened to file fraud and my check magically appeared within days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just don’t buy a samsung washing machine… ours needs a $500 repair because the drum springs went bad and it’s out of balance constantly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is one of the recalled washers! I bought one and they should have never sold it to me in the first place. Had mine less than a month and got and got a voltage error code issue and had to have fixed. Will not buy from Best Buy ever again.
