• A:Answer Hello flowers4! Yes, you will need a hot water line connected to the washing machine to use the Steam feature. If you are not going to use the hot water, block the hot water supply intake with the water intake cap. Make sure to set the water temperature to Cold after blocking the hot water supply intake. • A:Answer You can use powder detergent with the washing machine. I use oxyclean with my whites. You just remove the liquid tray and place powder where the liquid tray sits.

Q: QuestionWhy does my washer take so much longer than the timer says? Anywhere from an 8 minutes to an hour more. I wash like loads, one day I washed 4 pair of jeans, same size, same brand, it still took forever. Even an empty load was off on time. I'm very unhappy

• A:Answer Hi there, I can answer this for you. When washing a load of laundry in our washer, you will need to make sure that the smallest load is roughly 3-5 pounds of like fabric. The reason for this is smaller loads will not distribute evenly in the spin cycle and the washer will dispense more water and try to disperse those clothes. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
