Honestly I thought it would be a nightmare to clean. Didn't want stainless steel cooktop surface for that reason but I have found it so much easier to clean than I thought. The grill plates (or whatever you call the cast iron that sits over the burners) are easy to clean with soap and water. And the stainless steel surface cleans up much more easily than the black ceran top that my kitchen aide had. That was truly a nightmare to clean. It always looked like it was smudged. So far I am very pleased with the ease of cleanup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was worried it would be difficult to keep clean, I make sure it is wiped clean (I use warm water and a damp cloth) before every use, and it looks brand new! I have had it 4 months. I used blue Dawn dish liquid on a sticky spill and it cleaned right up, I have heard Barkeepers Friend works well on tough spots.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had no problem cleaning my stove top with just plain Dawn soapy water after washing dishes. So far, it cleans beautifully with the soap and water even though we did buy stainless steel cleaner, I have used it only once since purchasing the stove. I will add that my stove is only a few months old, I wash it after ever use as stated above, and I try to keep any build up of food or grease from accumulating, so I haven't had any problems or need to do anything further.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The stainless steel cook top on the NX58H9500WS can be cleaned using an approved stainless steel cleanser applied with a cloth or paper towel; instructions can be found on page 51 of the User Manual. If you'd prefer not to have a stainless cook top, Samsung has several Freestanding Gas Ranges with black cook tops to choose from. Thanks for your interest! Ms. Samsung

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's pretty easy actually. I use damp microfiber cloth first then wipe it clean with dry microfiber cloth. I clean it every night unless there's a big spill "cooking error" then I'd wipe it off right away (wait until it cools off of course). For weekly cleaning I dampened the microfiber cloth with soapy water, wipe, and clean with dry microfiber cloth. This goes same for the cook top of the iron thing that sits on top of the stove whatever you call it. You can use those stainless steel spray once in a while to maintain the perfect shine.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it depends on your approach to cleaning and how much of a slob you are when you cook. if stuff gets dried and stuck on, it will be a bit of an effort. a green scrubby pad/ Scotch Brite will scratch it. i recommend some kind of cleaner such as Simple Green, some hot water, a soft cloth and some patience. it also looks like the temp setting markers will easily scratch off. other than this, i do like this range.
