“Is the circuit board for the control panel properly protected from steam & heat? I've had issues in the past with the circuit board going out because of steam from cooking on the stove top as well as heat being released through the oven vent. This is in fact the reason I'm currently shopping for a new oven right be for Thanksgiving. It's impossible to boil water without creating steam LOL! It's also insanely expensive to replace these circuit boards so I want to make sure before purchasing a brand new oven that this is not going to happen again so here's my question. Is the circuit board for the control panel properly protected to prevent steam, heat and other properties produced by normal cooking from getting inside it and damaging the delicate circuits and other components that enable the oven to function correctly? The two high wattage dual element burners for doing what you want are positioned in the front of the stove. I would hope you have a vented range hood that pulls the hot steamy air from the stove and vents it via a fan through a vent to the outside. If you don't have one, it would be a worthwhile investment. Do not get the ones that just recirculate the air,.It does not get rid of the steam.

I have not had any problems, but then I am a light cook. The touchpad in the front is covered with glass. I don't think the steam could penetrate that glass and metal body around it.
