• You will need wifi to use the smart tv features (netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc.). If you don't have wifi you will still be able to watch regular cable television (as long as you have cable). The smart tv is basically an added bonus, but if you don't want those features and don't plan to use them, you can probably find a less expensive tv that is not a smart tv. Good luck.
