“How do I find a smart tv when all say smart and wont let you download apps. When looking at tvs what do I need to know so I don't get burned when buying it.”

• A “smart” TV means that it is capable of connecting to WiFi and communicating with other devices. With very few exceptions all TVs now will be smart, but may not come loaded with what you need. All streaming apps are able to be downloaded to your TV if not already installed. Perhaps the question then is what kind of apps are you looking to download?

• You must do research by reading, looking at reviews, and be sure to know what you want in a TV set. Also, you'll find that the sales staff are very knowledgeable about products and features and they don't work on commissions so they have no need to sell you something other than what you need/want/can use. So, start reading and find a friend who has a smart set. Good luck.
