Which 50" TV's have the pause live TV function? null

Carl, pausing live TV is a function that will vary by which app you are streaming or which cable provider you are using; for instance, if you are watching live TV on YouTube TV, this app will allow you to pause, play, record, etc. ^Gina

I have 50 inch Crystal UHD TV 7 series, with DVR. My understanding is that DVRs are constantly recording to a live TV buffer. When someone hits the PAUSE button on the remote, DVR “freezes’” the current image. It looks like “freeze”, but actually, that’s the recording that has just paused. When you hit the PLAY button, the program returns.
