I connected my cable box with the HDMI cable provided by Fios and everything works fine. Picture is great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just got through researching this tv on consumer reports where it ranked very high and also checked on HDMI cables. Any high speed HDMI cables are fine, paying extra for 3D is unnecessary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No need for new cables. Your HDMI Cable will work just fine.

My experience (and this might not be technically sound) was that the video performance suffered when using a cheap HDMI cable. My test was streaming HD content from the HBO Go app on my Apple TV. Using a cheap HDMI (and I'm talking about no name brand cables that are $10 or less) caused weird video anomalies like skipping and pixelation. I bought a 4K Rocketfish cable and the problem was resolved immediately. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Your normal HDMI cables are fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It's the same HDMI cable you would use with other tvs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought two monster HDMI cables specifically designed for UHD streaming. UHD requires HUGE bandwidths. Without updated HDMI cables, you're not streaming in UHD and you're not playing DVDs in UHD but rather HD. Because this TV's HD is enhanced and looks considerably better than regular HD, you may not realize you're streaming in HD instead of UHD. Also, nothing is broadcast via cable or satellite in UHD yet because of the bandwidth problems. You have to go to Netflix and stream what's available or get a UHD DVD and play it on a DVD player that can playback in UHD. That means not only new HDMI cables that can handle the load and a new UHD DVD player but also upgraded Internet service that offers download speeds of a minimum of 25 mbs, which means you have to hardwire the TV to stream in UHD because no wifi connection downloads at a speed of 25 mbs. I get 20 mbs on a good day even though I get 50 mbs via an Ethernet connection. I called Netflix, and they told me if I was not streaming at at least 25 mbs, the UHD content would automatically stream in HD. Bottom line: get ready to spend some $$$$ if you want to see real UHD.
