Kristen, There isn't a quick fix. I had the same problem and Samsung wanted to send a tech to my house to fix it. They also told me that it wasn't covered by any warranty. because the TV was only 2 days I decided to just return it to Best Buy and they gave me another. The new one didn't had any Blue or Purple dots.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blue dots... NO GOOD!!! Return it!!! Dead pixels. I originally bought the same tv from PC Richards. They sent a technician over to observe the problem. I returned it 3x. All 3 tv's with the same issue. No fixing it. PC Richards didn't want to compensate me for my troubles so I got my $ back & went to Best Buy to purchase my Samsung 4K. Now, I am satisfied!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had same problem, only gets worse. Was told need to replace tv. Sorry
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no fix to it, your pixels are dead and you need to replace the TV that is what I had to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We experienced the same thing; it was actually pointed out to us by the Geek Squad members who were installing the TV. They recommended we wait until we had the TV on for several hours and if the blue dots on the bottom did not disappear to contact Best Buy for a replacement. I did not get the impression that the dots could be "fixed". We used Geek Squad for installation so replacing and reinstalling a new TV was easy; just a phone call.
