“How do you connect a 5.1 Surround Sound system to this TV?”

• I have all my inputs running into my stereo receiver, then only one HDMI to this TV. You don't get the sound out of the TV speakers that way, and if you want to use the Smart TV features (as I do for Netflix), you will have to run an optical audio out from the TV back to your stereo receiver. You could also run all your inputs (cable box, game console, Blu-ray player, etc) in to the One Connect box of this TV, then run one optical audio out from the TV to surround sound system, I suppose.

• Take the HDMI Cable form your 5.1 system and put in the HDMI Input named ARC(HDMI 4 in my case.) Restart the TV... Lo and behold.. you have 5.1.
