No it does not, had to read the user manual on line to find out. It states "2018 models NU7100/NU710D, NU7200, and NU7300/NU730D only support 2.4 Ghz networks. They will not detect 5 Ghz networks." Wished I knew that before purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This television does NOT support 5Ghz Wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not support 5 gigahertz because I have one here brand new and I just went and set it up and it will not see either of my two 5 gigahertz streams. It only sees my to 2.4 gigahertz streams. Whoever that person is in this list to said that it does connect to 5 gigahertz is wrong. They probably have a 2.4 and a 5 gigahertz stream and it connected to the 2.4 and they don't even realize it. It's because of this that I'm returning it, because all of my bandwidth is on the 5 gigahertz stream and I've other devices on the 2.4 and it's creating a bottleneck. It's very difficult for me to believe as well that a 2018 television set doesn't even support 5 gigahertz. That's pretty much ridiculous. You can bypass it by using a Roku and connecting the Roku to the 5 gigahertz stream, but when you use any of the television apps you are stuck with 2.4. Same holds true of fire stick or any other streaming device that connects to 5 gigahertz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can buy a dual band WiFi extender for less than 20$ and connect your TV using Ethernet port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.5ghz doesn’t show on the TV. I suspect it only supports 2.4ghz as I have a Roku device connected to the TV that connects at 5ghz. If my Roku sees the 5ghz at the same location as the TV, this is a strong indicator that the TV does not support 5ghz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model does not support 5G wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot get mine to show my 5ghz WiFi sadly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So I read a few of these and I saw what a Samsung moderator said that it doesn’t, wrong! What it doesn’t see is what is called WiFi band steering which is when you name your 2.4 and your 5.0 bands the same name. UN55RU7300F Is the model, and on the e-manual on page 134 it states this device supports the ac band which is the 5.0 band but it recommends the n band as default which is a high functioning 2.4 band. It’s what your Internet was 10 plus years ago. What worries me is the fact that I had to search that in-depth and almost unsure on why a 2018 model doesn’t fully operate the 5.0. I know a condition of having Apple programming is that Apple doesn’t to ever want to be looked at as slow in processing and this TV supports AirPlay 2 and it normally requires whatever device to comply before it will allow it to have its content be available within another device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does the vizio E80 - E3 support 5G Wi-Fi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We recently subscribed to Hulu live. Both of our Vizio TVs, we learned, did not have 5Ghz built in. Our streaming kept buffering or literally bump you out of the show. Frustrating. I saw the tip about using a wifi extender and ethernet cable and it has helped a lot. Still an occasional buffering, but not nearly as annoying.
