Hi cdfl - First, try re-pairing your remote with your Q70C TV (press and hold Return and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously). If it still won't power your TV on, make sure the battery has a sufficient charge (All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery). If you'd rather use another remote, you can use a universal or Samsung-branded replacement remote; you can also power the TV off by using the TV controller button which is located directly below the Samsung logo on the bottom bezel of your TV. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Samsung remote BN59-01315J with channel buttons It turns TV on and off. Also this TV has Alexa, just say Alexa, turn off the TV. Dont know if there is a on-off switch. Hope this helps.
