Hi Koolmeme - The 55" QN700B is a Best Buy Exclusive Samsung model. ~ Samsung Specialist
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not a direct answer, but I haven't seen any mention of 55" 8k Samsung TVs for their 2023 lineup and this appears to be the only 55" even for 2022 as far as I can tell. Really hope they keep a 55" 8k in the future because the pixel density is great. I'm really liking the 2022 QN700B with the M2 Pro Mac running in 4k HiDPI / 8K native. It's like a giant retina display with crisp text and images. love the pixel density.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 3 of this new 2022 model 55" 8K plus an 85" 900 model. The 700 series has most of the features of the 800 and 900 series except that the multi-screen is limited to 2 screens (1 from internal and 1 external). I will using all 3 of them for monitors. They are also quite nice at 4K which I am doing now on the Samsung. I was able to run it on Windows at 8K from an nVidia RTX 4090 HDMI port with a custom resolution setting (driver issue). On the TV you have to find the video setting that is 1:1 and is not doing any overscan. If the text is blurry, then it is because of the overscan blurring every pixel which is stretched. I am buying a new Mac Mini Pro to use with my 700s and 900 at 8K. The Samsung may do better upscaling than the Mac for video.
