no you cannot lock them. many stories of people almost burning their house down because of this poor and dangerous design. Samsung is aware and chooses to do nothing. A partial half-a fix is to pull the knobs off install 5/32 grommets on the shafts and re-install the knobs. it makes pushing the knobs in much harder. The grommets act as a stiff spring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same thing happened to me couple times and my friend. And it keeps happening. Last time my whole kitchen was on fire. The knobs are extremely sensitive. If you just had brush of them and leave the kitchen without knowing it's a life threatening. My kitchen was in fire flames within seconds. Stove is now damaged to from fire. I can't but new stove thus was 1.500 and Samsung is doing nothing to fix this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The range does not offer any lock feature for the knobs. You can purchase some cooktop knob covers or locks to protect your knobs from accidentally being brushed against. All of our electric models have a Hot Surface indicator that lights up when an element is or has recently been in use and is still hot. Thank you for choosing Samsung! ^Lena
