I would highly recommend against buying any Samsung TV that uses one connect. It’s extremely inelegant, it’s another component that can (and judging by my own current experience of it failing 18 months into ownership, as well as countless others if you care to search) and likely will fail and Samsung will be of little to no support. My Samsung Q6 is less than two years old and I was told by Samsung themselves “sorry we don’t make that part anymore” in regards to my failed one connect box so I have a useless, costly brick attached to my wall now. I implore anyone considering a Samsung, buy an extended warranty or better yet speak with your wallet and buy from a company that stands behind their products and that makes reliable product to begin with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought a one connect tv 4 years ago. First model out, it was $4,000. Now the one connect isn't working. The TV itself seems to work. But, no other way to connect simple HDMIs to the tv directly. I implore you. Don't take on the hassle with this extra very expensive non-supported extra box created by samsung. Just google search it. You will find a whole bunch of people with a tv that simply doesn't work because they ARE FORCED TO CONNECT TO THE TV through one connect. Even if I just want to stream and the power is connected directly to the TV, the tv screen refused to show an image if it isn't connect to the ONE CONNECT BOX. Don't buy a samsung with One Connect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So i got a samsung 65" curve, I dont have a 1 connect box. I use the screen mirror function thru my note10. Then hit home button to open menu and watch my streaming apps without the box. I cant use my game console but I can binge just fine without it. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When the One Connect box goes out, and it will, the TV will not function and replacement boxes are no longer produced or available. You will be forced to by a use One Connect from a stranger at a ridiculous price if you can even find one. DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE! I have a perfectly good, expensive Samsung TV that is useless. Make me mad every time I look at it. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!

My second cable broke in less than two years and it’s almost CAD$ 700 to replace it.. really expensive to replace and my frame tv is pretty much a useless piece on the wall now.. no support from Samsung other than directing me to Samsung parts to buy the new cable..am planning to buy a new good tv for the less than the amount of this one connect cable (obviously not a Samsung tv anymore)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if it is a one connect tv you can only access the picture with a one connect box and cable. This is easy and convenient until the cable pins get jostled in the end that connects to the tv and they break. Then suddenly you can’t use the tv and you wait weeks for a replacement.
