How do you remove the tv stand null

Lie the tv face down on a flat surface and on clean soft blanket. The 2 metal stands should wiggle out. One stand might have cords running through it. You will need to get the thin plastic cover off to free the cords. I think removing the plastic cover is the most difficult part and unfortunately, I'm not sure how I managed to get it off. I just fiddled with it like you would if you were trying to open a tv remote to switch out the batteries. I hope that helps!
