A:Answer The Sony is better in nearly every way except for gaming. The input lag on the Sony is (in my opinion) unacceptable for gaming and these 2018 Samsungs seem to be the only tv on the market, to date, with VRR (variable refresh rate), also known as Freesync, that, when paired with an Xbox One X, make for what is undoubtedly the finest console/TV gaming experience money can buy at this time. If you don't play games or couldn't be satisfied with a -8% visual fidelity display for -33% the price, go with the Sony. Otherwise, this was an ultra solid buy for my at $997 and I recommend it.
