“Does this model have the ambient mode? That sort of blends the TV into the background. If so how do people think it works? Does the TV remain on or is it in some kind of low power mode?”

• We have only used the TV for one day, so we are still learning about the features. It does have ambient mode, and the TV must be on. Do not know if it is a lower power setting mode. So far, the ambient picture comes up with a black border around the picture, so it looks more like a framed picture with a black matt. If there is a away to get rid of the border and make the picture go full screen we have not discovered it, but we have not really tried yet.
