The one connect box is the central junction for all other electronics such as external speakers, DVD player, Apple TV or Roku, etc. The TV will detect your speakers once you plug it into the one connect box. If you are looking to connect the speakers via Bluetooth, I believe the TV has that capability but recommend downloading the user manual from Samsung prior to purchasing the TV. Good Luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The One Connect cable does carry the power, the audio and the video — all of the signals. What are you using as the source of your audio? For example, we use our Amazon Replay TV DVR as the source, and then it’s run through the receiver, the HDMI then goes from the receiver to the One Connect box, and then the One Connect Cable goes to the TV. We don’t use our TV as an audio source. We are not running HDMI ARC, although the TV does have this capability. If you set up your TV this same way, the sound bar would be plugged into the receiver, not the TV. Hope this helps.

You will need to run your sound bar cable to the OneConnect box, as there is no other connection point (other than for the OneConnect cable) on the TV itself. The TV itself has the IR receiver for remote, I believe.
