Is this Tv edge lit or direct lit? null

Q60 is edge, Q70 and Q80 are direct Lit, and to be honest I don’t notice it’s edge lit at all.

I just had the privilege of tearing down a lightning struck samsung QN58Q60T and it is most definitely edge lit but Samsung is pretty good with their screens because until I tore it apart I did not know that I thought it was a full array or direct lit or whatever you want to call it.

The Q60 TV is edge-lit and you can tell the difference in brightness and black colors. The black colors appear to have a little more tint of gray/blue then perfect black.
