• Cox Contour control box hat I have is connected to HDMI The tv only has HDMI out put I have a Wii which is composite video . I purchased a composite to HDMI on Amazon for $19.99 and it works perfect

• Yes. You need a HDMI cable and a converter. Best buy has everything you need for this. It was $75 dollars for every thing I needed. I did have to contact my local cable company to have my cable box upgraded to HD which is no big deal and my cable company without asking went ahead and connected the converter from the VCR/DVD player to the tv for me.

• The 65" Q60R does not have component or composite connections.

• The Samsung tv has 3 HDMI connections, 2 USB connections and one audio connection in the back of the tv.. NO RCA red/yellow/white connections. But you can buy an adapter from Amazon for $13 that will allow you to make the connection. I hope this helps.
