Q70R is way better then the Q70T. Samsung did some tricky marketing for 2020, and moved all their models down. A Q70R is equivalent to a Q80T; the Q80R is equivalent to a Q90T, etc. The Full array is always better then edge lighting. With edge lighting you can't get local dimming, which will effect the picture quality for when the picture had large bright and dark areas next to each other. If you want the best local dimming and blacks, then full array is the way to go.
