• A:Answer I do use this TV outside and I am now going on my third year with it. I bring it in for winter, but it is under the overhang of the house and I have a cover for it. The only issue I have is glare with the Q80A since I do not believe this has the anti glare, so I am currently looking for an anti glare film. other than that I have had zero issues.

• A:Answer Not likely. You are supposed to keep the tv 100% upright so it takes a very tall space and the box is very wide as well. They warn if you lean or angle load you may damage it. It’s a very large box it’s packaged in. I had pick up truck and had to secure it just right. They’ll tell you the same things if you have them load it. May void warranty if you don’t come prepared. • A:Answer Samsung TVs, since 2016 have Samsung TV Plus, which has over 100 streaming channels, not cable equivalent, but very entertaining, for free. I have 4 Samsung and they all have this feature. Q: QuestionI wish to mount this TV over my fireplace. Obviously there is a flue that runs behind it up /through the roof. Can this be done without adversely affecting the tv/flue vent? Can the Geek Squad install this safely?

• A:Answer There are several things i would check first. 1. Light a fire in your fire place. Give the fire several hours to heat everything in the Flue system to sperating temps. Then using an infrared heat sensor gun shoot the wall in front of your flue location. Ambient temp/static temp will be what your ac is set too. Normally 68 to 75 with out fire place on. If the wall surface is close to that then the flue wont be an issue as long as you dont run a screw or anchor thru it. 2. Heat also rolls uo thebface of the wall from the fire place opening. This heat is the portion i would worrt more about. At a normal burn woth time to get the fireplace heated properly. Place your hand about 8 inches over the top of the fire place opening. If you cant hold your hand there comfortably then your TV will not do well a coupke feet above it. Those are the tests i would do. You can also tape a refrigerator thermometer to the wall in the tv location and run the fire place several hours to check relative temps. Good luck. 2.
