QuestionHello, can you tell me the difference between the QN65Q8DT (sold by Costco) and the QN65Q80T (sold by best buy)? I checked specs for both and they are identical but the model numbers differ by one character D vs 0

- Answer Difference is in the UHD dimming for contrast and deeper black. The 8dt has the "supreme" dimming and the 80t has the "ultimate" dimming. The 8dt is a bit better and cost is 100 can dollars more here in canada . The q800 ( 8k qled ) has the "supreme pro" dimming

QuestionDoes the Samsung Q80 have the One Connect box? If not, which 2020 models do have it?

- Answer Hi Jeremiah- The Q80T does not offer the One Connect Box and it is not compatible/available for this TV. This TV has all the ports and connections on the back of the TV. The only Samsung TVs for 2020 that support the One Connect Box are the Frame TVs and the Q950TS. ^Cris

QuestionDoes this TV come with mounting screws for wall mount? If not, what screw size is required?

- Answer Yes M8 but I found they need to be a little longer than 26-28mm. Because that is the depth from back of TV. As shown in the manual. You will need account for the thickness of your mounting bracket. 30mm might be ok, but I went with 40mm and used spacers to get it 26-28mm of the screw that was actually going into the threading.

QuestionHas anyone had issues where the sound would cut off for about 1-2 seconds while watching any program...over the air, Netflix..etc? I still have the same service, cables and equipment, other than a new TV. Seriously thinking about taking it back.

QuestionI had to buy another TC Q80T 65" since my 60" Samsung Plasma crapped out after around 5 years... I believe the HDMI ports are working. We have the new one setup now but I can see that the picture quality is far less than the plasma had. Settings matbe?

The Q80T also includes 4 different Picture Modes, so you can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience.• Dynamic makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. • Standard is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. • Natural reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. • Movie is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. You can also individually adjust the brightness and contrast to achieve the picture quality you desire. The Q80T also features Film Mode as a new picture setting as well! ^Gina

- Answer I am not sure, as I threw the box away a month ago. It fit in my Honda CRV without any issues and had room to spare. On the Best Buy Web Site in the specs area it does list the box dimensions as: Box Dimension Height 38 inches Width 63.8 inches Depth 8.4 inches
