Hi Bent - The One Connect Box has all the ports/inputs that would normally be on the back of the TV. It has 4 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, Optical, Coaxial, Ethernet, the proprietary connection cable, as well as the power. It does not need line of sight and can be hidden. The apps are available on the launch bar and the app list is extensive. It has all the popular apps including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Prime Video, Vudu, and many more. ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must hard-wire your cable box to the One Connect box. It has 4 HDMI inputs. I use a wireless cable box extender that has a small footprint, sits next to the One Connect box, and is hard wired into it, but allows the primary cable box that is connected into the wall to be across the room in a more convenient and less conspicuous place. No line of sight required. Xfinity is my provider for the primary cable box and the wireless extender. Lots of built in apps like Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. You can probably find a comprehensive list on the Samsung website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cable box connects via HDMI so it can sit anywhere. As far as apps are concerned there are so many (Prime, Netflix) loaded you will take a long time going through them. The 'Smartthings' app keeps everything connected.
