Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can not speak to CA law but I will tell you the TV INCLUDES a cable that allows it to work right out of the box. The cablet connects the TV to what I will call the BOX. This box is where you connect all your other devices, Blu-ray, DVD, cable box, computer, video game, etc. This box plugs directly into the wall and powers the TV, so right out of the box you DO NOT need to purchase an additional cord. The single cable allows all those peripherals to go to the TV through Samsungs proprietary cable or cord. This cord is not approved for behind wall application, granted some users install it behind the wall for a truly clean install. The cable is clearish silver and seems to blend it quite well to its natural setting. -Owner 2019 65" frame with beige wood surround. Samsung refers to it as One Invisible Connections about quarter of the way down : https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/the-frame/65-class-the-frame-tv-qled-4k-uhd-hdr-smart-tv-2020-qn65ls03tafxza/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a special in wall cord if you are going to hide it in a wall. The cord supplied is not in wall rated. A fire hazard exists if you use inside a wall. Just like using an extension cord or HDMI cord in a wall. This applies (or should apply) to all states as per NEC.
