Q: QuestionI have a KS8000 (with the one connect box) tv with PS4, Switch, & bluray. What's the best way to hook all of this up to this soundbar?

• A:Answer I think your answer would depend on the devices your hooking up. The ps4 for sure does not do dolby Atmos, I dont believe the switch does either so passing audio through ARC is not a big deal. Is the bluray player a 4k bluray player that support Dolby Atmos and DTSX? If it does it should definitely get hooked up to sound bar input. I can speak from experience that pretty much all of the Samsung sound bar suffer from lack of a very simple feature which would dedicated button code for each input chance but instead we a stuck with a source button which tend to cause grief with harmony remote. So if a harmony is in play to you might have some issues when switching inputs once in a while. So bottom line any device that supports Atmos or dtsx has to go into soundbar inputs so you get full lossless audio. The q90r is supposed to get an earc update also which will be nice that will allow full lossless audio to pass through tv to sound bar, only if tv supports eARC which I believe the ks9000 does not. At this point for the sake of only having to switch inputs on 1 device I would hook everything into sound bar inputs then passthrough the video to tv, this tend to alleviate lip sync issues as well.

• A:Answer I don't have any issues - it depends entirely by your source. I have The Samsung 8K TV 900RB, Xbox One X, Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 and a gaming DELL laptop. (the Dell laptop and the Shield are plugged in the sound bar, the Xbox to the TV for now). I had also the previous model (HW-950) and it had problems with the back speakers and it disconnected several times (had to synchronize again the back speakers and subwoofer many times as it lost connection). However, the speakers and the sound bar itself are the same as the previous model, the only things is the Adaptive Mode and the Game Pro Mode (super for Xbox) that work better with all system (including the rear speakers). Even the Spotify from a smartphone sounds better and if you wish on all speakers with this model. I think they tuned or they change something in the electronics, not a big difference, only a small difference with the new subwoofer model in the efficiency.

• A:Answer The subwoofer does not have any posts, terminals or jacks to allow it to be wired up. We have not heard anything from the sub that suggests interference, to date. We know that there is a reasonably strong Wi-Fi signal present, as the TV we use with this sound bar is being run wirelessly, and successfully, from the dual/band Linksys EA6900 router in the next room.
