I just purchased this unit and I've tried all cycles at least 3 times already. I have not had an issue, the wrinkle away and refresh cycles have worked exceptionally well. I did find out the heavier clothing such as jeans or heavy jacket come out a little damp but no problem! I just put it in the quick dry cycle and set the time for about 10 minutes done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.in the user manual, the only thing that the "steam" functions do is dump a bit of water into the dryer drum and then put it on high heat. I did the same thing as you and am going in to the store tomorrow to try and exchange it for the next model down without the "steam". Using a $3 spray bottle of water works way better than those functions in my limited experience.
