“What accessories do I need to purchase for this dryer? I'm having a hard time figuring out if I need to purchase a power cord, vent kit and the steam hose attachment. I want to take advantage of the free delivery and set up but want to make sure I have the right equipment to have it hooked up. I tried the chat feature and they gave me a laundry list of items that I should purchase. Not sure what's included with the dryer. I am also planning on getting matching washer and have same questions but I can also post that on the washer page. Any help would be appreciated.”

With your purchase of a dryer, our delivery crew requires a new power cord and a new vent kit. The steam kit will be included with the dryer. However, we do sell them in store in a stainless steel if you would prefer the stronger kit. The dryer cord is sold separately because houses may be configured with a three prong or four prong outlet. If purchased on the same order, our delivery team will bring both formats. So no need to check! The vent kit is a flexible tubing that connects the dryer to your existing external vent. A new one is required to prevent a build up of lint. If you are disconnecting your own, this would be a good time to clean that vent as it will extend the life of the dryer. This model is equipped with a vent sensor to let you know when to clean the vent as well. As for the matching washer, new fill hoses are required for set up. We recommend the stainless steel lines but rubber ones are available upon request.

You will get a dryer rack, a 1 foot hose, and a Y splitter to attach the dryer to the cold water line for the steam function.The vent comes straight out the back of the dryer by default. The vent kit allows you to have it come out either side of the dryer from the knockouts on the unit. Hopefully this helps.

Then you simply click add to cart to include them in your purchase. I believe it was just the power cord and vent kit for the dryer, and the hoses for the washer. They say you have to purchase new accessories if you want them to install it upon delivery. However, the technician who installed mine actually did use my existing vent because it was flexible and allowed installation closer to the wall. He did not even remove the new one from the box and advised me to return it, which I did. I would still recommend buying the recommended ones if you want installation, since their policy states that they won't use your old parts. Then you can always return anything they don't use.

The website does not suggest the steam dryer kit during checkout for purchase of the steam dryer, but it will be needed. The washer requires the washing machine fill hose.

Please try again later.You will need a dryer cord, vent kit and if you want the steam option the steam kit or a hose that will run from the faucet to the dryer as the dryer comes with some of the parts already. I went ahead and bought the whole kit to make everything easier.
