Yes it is away however you have to turn off your dryer and before starting your dryers settings, you have to change your dryer settings to the lower dots on the drying settings.

It also has "manual/timed dry" settings that run the cycle for a set amount of time. Using a manual or timed dry setting, would bypass the sensors.
