QuestionWe just purchased the Samsung DVE(G)50R5400 dryer. After installing it into place, i came across a short water hose and Y-connector. To this day, would it still be recommended to install those parts? Or is it still for the "steam cycles"?

- Answer I can tell you mine caught fire and they replaced everything. Still don't work. It could be anything from the motherboard to a simple wire burned up, there famous for burning up. Hopefully you have a warranty

- Answer This option sprays a light "mist" on the clothes to get rid of wrinkles and relaxes them. Same option as spraying with a wrinkle relaxer but instead of using the chemicals the dryer uses water and then dries them.

QuestionMy dryer is in my small apartment kitchen and the metal hose has to bend in 2 spots (incl. where hose connects to dryer @ side) to reach the window. Thus, It is cracked in 6 spots and hot air escapes. Is it possible to use a more flexible nonmetal hose?

QuestionWe bought this dryer it failed to running after only 17 days. The big box stores offered to repair or replace the dryer , we choose to have it replace with a new one. I wonder if it would have better to have the problem repaired instead of getting new?
