• A:Answer It can be a 3 or 4 prong. You have to attach a new dryer electrical cord ( instructions enclosed). So, if your wall plug is a 4 prong, it will work, will also work with 3 prong plug for those that have that. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWhere does the dryer vent exit from the machine? Installing new in wall vent and trying to get it located in the right location. The dryer will be stacked on top of the washer.

Q: QuestionI don't understand dryer steam function. Is there a hose that drains to a plumbing line that has to be installed? Would I be able to install the line later and not use the steam function?

• A:Answer There is no drain hose, there is not enough liquid that would require a drain. The drying function provides sufficient evaporative evacuation so that a drain is not necessary.

Q: QuestionI am disappointed in this dryer. The leveling tools were not included for setup, lint trap folds in half and has a TINY latch to open it. This is an issue for arthritic hands and NO dryer rack for shoes, pillows, sweaters etc.

• A:Answer A pair of pliers is all that is necessary to level the machine. You observation about opening the lint filter is spot on. My solution has been to have a small flat head screw driver handy. Clearly a design flaw.

Q: QuestionConfused. Are the Y-connector & hose included or not? My electrical was included but no option at checkout to add Y and hose. Note to Samsung: manual p25 is NOT helpful. They are listed as ‘parts supplied’ - what does that mean? “Supplied” by whom?

• A:Answer There is a brass Y fitting and a short hose that comes with the dryer unit for steam mode. The Y fitting and short hose would be for the water hookup to split between your washer and dryer. However, the hoses that go to your washer and dryer are NOT included.
