• No sure on the dimensions but no a 55" mount won't fit...I have the mount that holds 85"

• Hi there! Here are the full dimensions of the 70TU6980 (WxHxD) With TV stand: 61.3" x 38.7" x 13.4". Without TV stand: 61.3" x 35.4" x 2.4". The 70TU6980 is not compatible with a 55" TV wall mount bracket. The TU6980 utilizes any universal wall mount with a VESA Standard of 400mm x 300mm.
