• You said sound system, so, I don’t know whether you have a sound bar or a dedicated receiver, which would solve all your HDMI problems!

• I have a Roku, rather than a FireStick but they are similar in function. I run everything through my home theater and it requires one HDMI port(theater to TV) Your surround sound should be coming through a stereo receiver/home theater. Look on the back and see how many HDMI inputs you have. Those plus your TV's HDMI ports (-1 for stereo to TV) are how many you have available.
